Ifil played nine times in his initial loan before yo-yoing between the Hornets and Town until being eventually signed for £70,000 in June 2004. He went on to play 231 times for Swindon, scoring five goals.

November 21, 2009: Charlie Austin makes his full debut for Swindon - and nets the winning goal just three minutes into the game.
