ADVER Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players following the club's defeat to Burton Albion.

Lee Camp: 7

Kicking was exceptional and made a couple of good saves. Nothing he could have done about either goal.

Paul Caddis: 6

Certainly had a better second half than his first. Caddis combined well with Payne going forward. Subbed.

Akin Odimayo: 6

Carried the ball forward well a few times, and his defending was pretty sound overall.

Anthony Grant: 7

Made an important block on more than one occasion. Continues to be calm and play the ball out from the back.

Ellis Iandolo: N/A

The defender only lasted three minutes before being substituted due to a hamstring injury. Subbed.

Dom Thompson: 5

Continues to make poor decisions on the ball and lost his marker for Burton’s winner. Subbed.

Matty Palmer: 6

Despite being given the captain’s armband, Palmer didn’t exactly lead from the front. Very so-so performance against his ex-employers.

Christopher Missilou: 7

A strong performance from Missilou. He kept Town on top in parts by regularly winning his battles.

Jack Payne: 8

Payne scored a cracking goal and was involved in so much of Town’s good stuff. He didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.

Scott Twine: 6

Twine was never afraid to shoot, but his attacking input was inefficient. He could do with welcoming contact and accepting he is likely to get fouled more than most.

Brett Pitman: 4

Pitman ambled around the pitch and missed two really good chances. He needs to find his goalscoring boots again quickly.

SUBSTITUTES

Jonathan Grounds: 6

His marker scored Burton’s first, but he was trying to do two people’s jobs in one go at that point. Brought a calm presence to the back line throughout.

Tyler Smith: N/A

Brought on in the 93rd minute.

Joel Grant: N/A

Brought on in the 93rd minute.
