SWINDON Town has launched the club's new away kit for the 2021-22 League Two campaign.

Following on from the release of the retro design for the home shirt, Town announced the away kit would also pay homage to a successful season of old - specifically the 1993-94 Premier League campaign.

This season's PUMA kit is a predominantly yellow design with green squares on the shirt and green shorts to compliment the yellow socks.

In a statement released by Swindon Town upon the release of the kit, it said: "This is an iconic design that not only encompasses our traditions but with a nod to the future that looks great not only on the pitch but off it."

Town wore their new kit for the first time on Saturday in a 1-0 pre-season friendly defeat to National League side Weymouth.

Ben Garner's side is likely to don the strip for the first day of the League Two campaign when taking on Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park.

Revealing the kit online, Town said: "Following on from [Friday's] shirt announcement, Swindon Town are proud to reveal the 2021/22 away shirt produced by PUMA.

"Our shirt suppliers have once again provided a unique retro design.

"The shirt’s front features a block style design with the yellow and green colour scheme famed in 1993, quoted by fans as ‘it’s just like watching Brazil’. The shorts will be green with yellow socks featuring green bands and STFC imprinted on them.

"Supporters can pre-order their away kits online only now via STFC Direct.com, we aim to dispatch these to supporters within the coming weeks and we will keep supporters updated.

"Away shirts are available in sizes ranging from Small to 4XL for adults and junior kits ranging from 5-6-years-old to 13-14-years-old.

"We look forward to seeing you all at the County Ground in your shirts this season and thank you for your continued support."
