SWINDON Town have rejected "multiple offers" from National League side Wrexham for defender Rob Hunt, according to reports.
News broke late on Monday evening that the ambitious Welsh club with dreams of promotion to League Two and beyond had seen several bids turned away by Swindon as they look to bolster an already-superb squad with yet more EFL experience.
Football writer Pete O'Rourke tweeted: "Swindon Town have rebuffed several Wrexham bids for defender Rob Hunt with a number of clubs also keen on the full-back."
Hunt's contract at the County Ground runs out next summer after the 26-year-old signed a 12-month extension to his original deal last year.
The versatile defender - who can operate in either full-back position - would be a big loss for Ben Garner and it is thought that Town will try to hold onto their man, despite strong interest and expected further bids from Wrexham.
Hunt has made 68 appearances for Swindon, scoring one goal and assisting seven others.
