PORT Vale forward Devante Rodney has been banned for three matches after being found guilty of violent conduct in Saturday's game against Swindon Town.
The Vale forward appeared to clash with on-loan Huddersfield Town defender Romoney Crichlow in the 29th minute of Town's 2-1 defeat, but referee Neil Hair and his team of officials missed the incident at the time.
Rodney's challenge was picked up on camera though - an incident that Town boss Ben Garner was "really not happy about" - and sent to the EFL for a second look.
The 23-year-old admitted the charge and will now miss Port Vale's games against Harrogate Town, Scunthorpe United, and Leyton Orient.
