SWINDON Town midfielder Ricky Aguiar has joined Chippenham Town on a month’s loan.
Aguiar has made four appearances for Town this season – but both of his starts came in EFL Trophy group games – and the decision has now been made to let the 20-year-old leave for some first-team experience.
Commenting on the decision to let Aguiar go to the Bluebirds, Town boss Ben Garner said: “Ricky will go out just to get games, but he’ll still train with us to get the coaching and development.
“It’s an opportunity to go to a good level and a good club, one where he will play five or six games over the next 28 days.
“It will give him some more experience at a higher level than he’s regularly played at previously. We think by doing that he will be able to push closer to our first team.”
