Last night Swindon were dumped out of the FA Cup in the third round by the current Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Ben Garner's team found themselves up against an almost full-strength City side full of first-team regulars and international stars, and despite, what was, a comfortable 4-1 loss in the end will have every reason to be proud of the way they played.

Highlights of the match for the Robins included Harry Mckirdy's goal, especially as many Premier League teams have discovered that scoring against City is no mean feat, Lewis Ward saving Gabriel Jesus' penalty and Kevin De Bruyne getting a 'proper' introduction to Leage Two football

But how did the players, celebrities and other notable figures watching react to the game?

And where better to start than with the Reds goalscoring hero, who is becoming a steadfast fan favourite with his social media posts - including this one.

Keeper Lewis Ward, Swindon's 2nd choice with Jojo Wollacott away on international duty, came under fire for his decision making in the first half, but a penalty save and other fine stops between the posts in the second half certainly helped redeem him.

There was a lot of praise for town's young Villa loanee Kaine Kesler Hayden who was, in all likelihood, Swindon's best player on the pitch for the game. He also had a dignified reaction to the loss.

The club's other striker Tyreece Simpson, who has netted 10 goals this season summed up the experience of playing against a team that cost over £400m and had an average of 42 international caps per player.
