The fixtures for the 2022/23 NIHL National League season have been confirmed for the Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats.

Following their pre-season fixtures against Bristol Pittbulls and Telford Tigers, the Wildcats will be at the Link Centre to start the season as they play host to the newly reformed Hull Seahawks on 17th September.

The opening weekend double header will be completed with a trip to Sheffield to take on the Steeldogs the following day.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said: “Every summer the fixture announcement is the news we look forward to the most.

“The league this year is going to be another really tough one and with Bristol and Hull stepping into the league it’s going to be exciting to visit some new and some familiar locations.

“We’re happy with the fixture list, and know we’ll have some packed out Saturday night’s in Swindon.

“We’ve got loads planned for the duration of the season and will be revealing some themed nights very soon.

“It’s time to mark up the calendars, hockey is on its way back!”

Other games to look out for will be over the festive period as on Boxing Day the Wildcats are away against Basingstoke Bison with the return game the following day.

Aaron Nell’s men follow this up at home at The Link Centre on New Year’s Eve with the first part of a double header against Bristol Pitbulls as they head to Bristol on New Year’s Day.

The regular season concludes with a home game against Raiders IHC on 1st April before heading to the Slough Ice Arena on the 2nd to play the Bees.

The play-offs will take place the week following the end of the regular season and then it all comes to a close on the weekend of 15th and 16th April for the Coventry Finals weekend.
