Oldham Athletic will have a full squad as they play host to Swindon Town at Boundary Park this weekend.
This summer has been one dominated by injuries at Swindon, with at least 14 players missing at least some time during pre-season with a problem, and the majority of the squad having to be managed through the early stages of the season to get them up to full fitness.
Ian Holloway was not talking about his injuries in his pre-match press conference, but it is expected that two players will be back in the fold, although this week has not been without further issues.
New signing Jack Thomson arrived from Kilmarnock on Friday, and Town will be waiting on international clearance to see if he is eligible to be involved, something which took a whole week to arrive when Kaelan Majekodunmi arrived at the club from Australia this summer.
But these are not issues which Oldham are dealing with, as the side hotly tipped to push on from last year and challenge for the playoffs have a relatively clean bill of health.
The Latics have made a solid start to the season, winning their first game of the season against Port Vale, but were defeated at Colchester United after going down to ten men when they were ahead at the time.
After Gus Scott-Morriss was given a reprieve from his red card against Colchester, Micky Mellon looks set to have a full squad to choose from.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he said: “Fine. Everybody is good.”
That would give Ryan Delaney the opportunity to start against Swindon after his summer exit, as the Irish centre-back has been in the side ahead of Manny Monthe in the first few games of the season.
The one issue that Oldham do have is the long-term injury to winger Jack Stevens, which he suffered in pre-season and will keep him out for several months.
Mellon said: "It's been tough for him and tough for us because he's a talented lad and we've missed him, it's going to be nearly two seasons now. It's been a hard one for him.
"It was a big blow for us because we need wingers to play the way that we want to play, and Jack was an integral part of how we wanted it to play.
"So we need to adapt and adjust a little bit to that, but everybody else is fit and ready to go and we're looking forward to that challenge."
