LECSINEL Jean-Francois is expected to line up for Town against Stockport, despite his family being caught up in the Haiti earthquake last week.
Several members of the defender’s immediate family are still unaccounted for in the aftermath of the disaster, including his 11-year-old sister Erika, aunties, uncles and cousins.
But Jean-Francois, pictured left, will try to put that to the back of his mind for 90 minutes at Edgeley Park when he comes in to the team in place of hamstring injury victim Alan Sheehan.
And manager Danny Wilson says everyone at Swindon will give the Haiti international all the support he needs.
“It’s a worry for Lecs, of course it is. He’s not been able to get in contact with a couple of his family,” explained Wilson.
“It is terrible and really puts life into perspective.
“We offered him some advice of how to get in touch with the embassy in Haiti from London. Whether he got in touch with them over the weekend, I’m not too sure.
“Quite honestly, there’s not a great deal he can do though. He can’t go back over there at this moment in time, and all he can do is try and get in touch with them.
“Sometimes football is a nice respite - to get out on the football pitch and take your mind off it could be good for him.
“If he wanted time off he could have it, there’s no doubt about it. He hasn’t asked for it, but I would never stand in anybody’s way like that.”
