AARON Brown's search for the missing' part of his game is over according to Iffy Onuora.

That can only be good news for the remainder of the campaign and beyond in the manager's view.

He feels it is an example of a club showing faith in a player and the player in turn repaying that faith.

The left-sided midfielder, was initially snapped up on a month's loan from Queens Park Rangers on deadline day back in November.

The paperwork was completed in the nick of time and how glad Onuora is that the deal was done.

A temporary deal then became permanent and Onuora cannot speak highly enough of the 25-year-old.

Skipper Sean O'Hanlon suggested after the Doncaster win that Town had in Brown and Ricky Shakes two of the finest wide men in League One.

You won't find Onuora arguing too much with that.

He said: "It was matches that Browny needed.

"He's got that little extra half a yard back that he had at Bristol City, I think that's fair to say.

"He was just searching for it and gradually he's found it, which is great.

"We showed a little bit of faith in him by getting him here.

"Ian Holloway felt an awful lot of him at QPR but couldn't play him while he was still searching for that missing bit to his game.

"Hopefully we're the ones who'll now benefit from him getting it back."

And what has really delighted the Town boss is Brown's perfectionist attitude.

He said: "I've had a chat with Aaron this week and the great thing is that he wants to keep improving.

"He's not one of those who is just happy being in the team.

"He was maybe concerned that a lot of play was going down the right in the Doncaster game and was I concerned at times that he didn't get into the game?

"I told him that such situations happen when you're a wide player.

"We're just very pleased with what he's contributed and what hopefully he'll continue to contribute.

"But just the fact that he was having that kind of conversation spoke volumes about him as a player and a person and that he was keen to keep making strides.

"To be fair, that's the general mood in the camp.

"They want to give pushing on, they don't want to sit back."
