NEW Century lifted the Swindon Sunday League Division Two trophy after their 5-2 win over Inter Sandgate.

Michael Solan fired a hat-trick for Century, while Lee Stoddart and Gareth Davies also registered. Jake Page and David Rendle replied in vain for Sandgate.

In Division Four, champions Fox and Hound beat Westbrook 3-0 with goals from Warren Fuller (2) and Steve May. Westbrook now have to wait on Halcrow’s result in their remaining fixture before they know if they finish in runners-up spot.

Halcrow and Deers Leap fought out a 3-3 draw. Ben Fitzgibbon bagged two for Halcrow, with Jack Notton hitting the other.

Wheatsheaf finished their Division Five programme in style with a 3-0 defeat of AFC Southside, as Lee Stevens scored twice and Josh Connolly also registered.

FS Swindon took the Division Six title with a 3-1 victory against AC Swindon. Callum Cormack, Charlie Knowles and Ryan Mason all got on the scoresheet for the victors.

Adam Webb found the net four times as Nythe secured the runners-up spot in Division Seven with an 8-0 drubbing of West Swindon.

Anthony Hogg, Lee Anger, Jamie Hicks and Danny Mastalerz also scored for Nythe.

Goldfinger Tavern drew 2-2 with Pots of Gold.

This Sunday AFC Cricklade will be looking to retain their Chairman’s Trophy crown when they face Inter Sandgate in the competition’s final at Supermarine at 10.30am.
