TORQUAY manager Martin Ling has stressed that he has received no contact from Swindon with regards to a potential move for midfielder Eunan O’Kane.
The Advertiser has learnt a tentative enquiry was made by Town for the former Northern Ireland Under 21 international in January, a proposal that would have taken Billy Bodin to Plainmoor as part of a swap deal.
But no formal approach has yet been made, and Ling is adamant that O’Kane is fully focused on his Gulls duties as he looks to guide his team to promotion via the League Two play-offs.
"Eunan has got a big job to do for us over the next three games, and that's all he's concentrating on," Ling told the Western Morning News.
"I'm sure he's one of many of our players who have caught the eye this season, but that's as far as it goes.
"There's been no contact to me from Swindon Town, or anyone else.
"Clubs are looking at players everywhere with a view to next season, and you always get this sort of talk at this time of year."
