BOTH Swindon Wildcats and Swindon Supermarine saw their Sunday fixtures postponed due to the adverse weather conditions affecting much of the country today.

The Wildcats ice hockey team saw their trip to Kent to face Invicta Dynamos in NIHL South One postponed when the travellers were advised by the coach company taking them to the game that the journey would not be happening due to safety concerns.

Meanwhile in football's Southern League West division, Marine's trip to Evesham United, scheduled for a 3pm start, was also postponed with the Midlands side's pitch being affected by heavy snowfall.
