TWO-TIME Paralympian Louise Hunt has been given the backing of Imagine Cruising for another year after extending a sponsorship agreement with the luxury travel company.

The renewed deal will allow Wanborough wheelchair tennis player Hunt, who competed at the Rio Games in 2016 as well as at London four years before that, to continue to compete at the highest level at tournaments around the world.

Hunt said: “I am so pleased that Imagine Cruising are continuing to support me this year.

“Imagine Cruising are such a fantastic company to be associated with and I feel very proud to be supported by them.

“My training and tournament programme are incredibly expensive and without their support it would have been impossible to achieve what I have so far.

“I cannot thank them enough, not only is the financial support massively appreciated but their belief in me to strive towards my goals is priceless, and I’m so grateful to have them as a part of my team.”

A spokesperson for Imagine Cruising said: “Having supported Louise for the past three years, Imagine Cruising are delighted to continue to sponsor Louise as she continues on her journey to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

“We’ve really enjoyed following her training and progress and can’t wait to see her achieve her goals in the upcoming months.

“Here at Imagine we pride ourselves on getting behind the community and nurturing our incredible local talent - Louise’s determination, motivation and success is an inspiration to us all.”
