WANBOROUGH’S Louise Hunt has extended her sponsorship deal with travel company Imagine Cruising for another year as she begins her quest to qualify for next summer’s Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

The two-time Paralympian began her sponsorship with Imagine Cruising in 2015 and has since been afforded the chance to compete at major tournaments all over the world, including the 2016 wheelchair tennis tournament at the Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Upon hearing the news that her quest to reach a third Games would be aided by the luxury travel company, Hunt said: “I am over the moon that Imagine Cruising are continuing to support me this year.

“I am very proud to be associated with such a fantastic company and incredibly grateful for their support.

“My training and tournament programme are very expensive and without Imagine Cruising’s support, it would not be impossible to achieve what I have so far and be in with a chance to qualify for my third Paralympic Games next year.

“I cannot thank them enough. Not only is the financial support massively appreciated, but their belief in me keeps me motivated to achieve my goals.

“I’m so grateful to have them as a part of my team, and none of what I have achieved would have been possible without them.”

A spokesperson for Imagine Cruising said: “We are delighted to extend our sponsorship agreement with Louise for another year.

“Supporting local talent is at the heart of our business, and we continue to be motivated and inspired by Louise’s determination, skill and talent.

“Here’s to another step closer to the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.”
