A SWINDON tennis hot shot enjoyed an Easter holidays laden with success on the court.
Seven-year-old Joshua Bennett, who trains at Delta Tennis Centre in Swindon, picked up two titles at LTA regional U8 events.
Bennett’s first victory came at the Cheltenham Open in a field of 19 players. After three wins in the group stage, Bennett progressed through the quarter and semi-finals before taking a 10-7 success in the final.
He followed that up with another triumph at the Winchester Spring Open. Among a field of 16 players, Bennett again recorded three group stage wins, and followed that with quarter, semi and final victories – the latter by a 10-8 scoreline.
