JUNIORS from across Wiltshire and Avon showed their potential at the Chippenham Junior Squash Grand Prix.
A field of 30 players from across the region were in action, with various playing abilities from beginners to advanced.
Salisbury’s Joseph Fry won the Grade 1 beginners’ category, narrowly beating Chippenham’s Harry Britten in a tight final.
Swindon twins Edward and Oliver Taylor met in a close Grade 2 final, with Edward conquering his brother.
In the Grade 3 intermediate category, Marlborough’s Thomas Hole took the winner’s trophy with a decisive win over Salisbury’s Alexander Fordham.
In the final match of the day, the Grade 4 crown was taken by Lewis Davies, also from Marlborough, who secured an impressive victory against Bristol’s Mackenzie Dutton.
Junior squash coaching takes place at the Olympiad Leisure Centre in Chippenham every Saturday morning during school term time from 9.40-10.40am.
