INDOOR CRICKET: Swindon remain clear at the top of Division One of the Swindon Indoor Cricket League after a four-wicket defeat of Asians.
Ray Patel made 44 as Asians were dismissed for just 97 and Swindon were never seriously threatened as they coasted home with four balls to spare.
In the day's closest game, Nalgo edged out Wanborough by just one run after recovering from a slow start to post 128-3 (Shaz Khan 35 not out).
In Division Two, Cirencester's slump continued as they lost to United Churches by three wickets.
In a game littered with extras, Duncan Mead's 27 not out made the difference as Churches chased down 103 for victory.
Swindon 2nd defeated bottom club Wroughton who crashed to 66 all out in pursuit of 122-3 .
In Division Three, Nalgo overcame Ramsbury by two wickets despite fielding only five players.
Nationwide defeated South West by three wickets having dismissed them for just 67.
Motorola enjoyed a rare success in Division Four with a 15-run defeat of bottom club Woodlands.
Alex Bonfield made 27 not out as Motorola posted 101-3.
