TENNIS: Louise Hunt of Wanborough will have to wait for another year before registering her maiden win in the Cruyff Foundation Junior Masters, one of the top international junior wheelchair tennis events in the world, in this year's tournament in Tarbes, France.
As the youngest of the four girls in this year's event Hunt, 14, currently ranked No 3, was beaten in her final pool match 6-4, 6-4 by German 16-year-old Katharina Kruger, who is ranked just above the Briton.
Later Hunt and Kruger joined forces as they took on Emmy Kaiser of the United States and Judyta Olszewska of Poland in the girls doubles final, but in another closely fought contest it was Kaiser and Olszewska who gained the spoils 6-3, 6-3.
