THE Charity Challenge games against Bracknell Bees this week were a great opportunity to do something amazing for such a wonderful charity.

I’m hoping even more money gets raised as we go along through the season and it was great to see so many fans out supporting Young Epilepsy. It’s amazing to give back and that’s what we’re all about as a club.

Both teams won their home games and it was a great opportunity for us to play some of our younger lads.

Michael Crisp got the start between the pipes, so that was great for him to get some more experience under his belt.

It was great to get some of the younger lads out and raise some money at the same time.

In terms of the league, the wins against Basingstoke Bison and Peterborough Phantoms last weekend were massive for us.

Jonas Hoog coming back gave us a bit of a spark, but all the boys played a complete 60 minutes in both games and it really showed.

It showed that we can compete with these teams and we can compete for every piece of silverware. That’s what we’re going to aim for, for the rest of the season.

Peterborough have had a great season so far, but it’s our turn now to try and build some momentum now.

Last weekend was a real turning point for us – to beat two teams that are playing very well this season and are going to be challenging for the league and cups with us – it showed how good we really can be.

Aaron (Nell) has put a fantastic team together this season and I expect good things, so I think we’re going to have a good end to the season.

Looking forward to this weekend, we cannot be complacent. Any team can upset you on their day – one outstanding performance by a goalie can really affect you. No one can be underestimated and we have to get two massive wins.

We’re here to win every game and we want to give that to the fans too. At this point in the season, we need to be winning every game because of how close it’s going to be at the end.

With the way Peterborough have been playing – they haven’t dropped many points at all so far this season, so we know January is going to be a month where we have to win all of these games.
