CHISELDON’S Jonny May has been recalled to the England side to tackle Australia at Twickenham tomorrow.

The former Wootton Bassett junior comes into Eddie Jones’ starting XV on the wing with Bath back Anthony Watson switching to full-back in place of Mike Brown.

May, who has won 27 caps for England, has made a blistering start his Leicester Tigers career since his summer move from Gloucester scoring 10 tries in nine appearances and was also named the Aviva Premiership player of the month for October.

Meanwhile, tickets are now on sale for the Premiership A-League round six fixture between Gloucester A and Exeter Braves at Ballards Ash Sports Ground, Royal Wootton Bassett.

May’s former junior club will host his old employer’s A side on Monday, December 18.

The Cherry and Whites recognised the large number of supporters that travel regularly from the Swindon area, and expressed a drive to take their game on the road to Royal Wootton Bassett, further strengthening the relationship between the two clubs.

The 2017-18 Premiership Rugby A-League is the 15th season of the A-League in the English domestic competition. Gloucester United were finalists in the 2016-17 final, coming second to Northampton Wanderers.

Adult tickets are priced at £5, with free entry for accompanying children. Gloucester season ticket holders will also be granted free entry to the event.

The club are anticipating a bumper crowd at this match a week before Christmas and on-site parking will be heavily restricted.
