SWINDON and Wootton Bassett played out an under 15 thriller at Supermarine RFC, the match ending 17-17. In a see-saw encounter, Swindon were first off the mark as Nick Cozens cut through.

Eddie Curtis followed him over to leave Bassett 10 points adrift early on.

The fightback started as No 8 Kenny Matthew crossed, then scrum-half Alex Blackmore touched down and fly-half Joe Gill added the conversion to snatch the lead.

Back came Swindon, Ben Loosmore the scorer with Harry Campion converting.

But centre Oli Stavrakis burst through to tie things up again in a pulstaing clash.

SWINDON under nines clinched a 5-0 win over Farington, with two tries from Josh Lee plus scores by Taylor Rowe, Ieuan Whelan and Thomas Evans.

LIAM Baker scored twice and Toby Sumington also touched down as Chippenham Under 15s beat Wimborne 17-15.

The under 13s romped to a 46-5 win over neighbours Corsham, the eight tries coming from Harry Cheatam, Toby Levy (2), Jack Houston, Alistair Todd and an Ollie Webb hat-trick.

CHIPPENHAM under sevens and eights were Plate winners at the Winchester Festival.
