SWINDON Robins received a financial boost ahead of the new season after the club announced title sponsors Complete Filtration Solutions will return for a second successive season.

The Robins, who this year will be led by former world champion Jason Doyle, struck a partnership with Derek Baker of CFS and his wife Val last season as Alun Rossiter’s side missed out on the chance to defend their SGB Premiership title.

And the pair have backed the Robins for 2019 with approximately two months remaining before the tapes are due to rise on the new season.

Robins’ commercial manager Lee Kilby said the club is delighted to welcome back the support from CFS.

He added: “It is terrific news for the club.

"Personally and as a club, we have struck up a great relationship with Derek and Val over the last couple of years and I am so happy they are returning for a second season as our lead sponsor.

“They get involved in all aspects of the club and we talk daily about ideas to enhance speedway as a sport and specifically the Robins.

“As it always is, discussing the sponsorship package was an easy and enjoyable experience, and we've even agreed on adding more of the CFS influence in the visual presentation of the team which will be an exciting change."
