Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players in today’s game away at Barnet in League Two.

REICE CHARLES-COOK – 6.5

Not an overly busy afternoon and stood no chance with Akinde’s header but was almost caught out after a slack pass when well off his line.

OLLY LANCASHIRE – 8

Two heavy blows epitomised the determination of the captain to finish with the points. Got in some important challenges too.

CHRIS ROBERTSON – 7.5

Looks right at home in a back three and got round well to cover for his colleagues whenever it was required.

MATT PRESTON – 8.5

A powerhouse in both boxes. Got in one memorable crunching challenge on Akinde before going up the other end to bundle home the winning goal.

KYLE KNOYLE – 7.5

Another lively outing and was impressive in what he did in a defensive capacity as well as his forward forays.

JAMES DUNNE – 7.5

Another tenacious performance in the middle and was cool, calm and collected on the ball as well as getting in some crucial challenges.

KESHI ANDERSON – 7.5

A strong showing and was always on the same wavelength as Woolery. Had a habit of popping up in promising positions but the finish just eluded him.

AMINE LINGANZI – 6.5

Covered a lot of ground and disrupted Barnet’s play but caught out by fatigue more than most and was withdrawn just after half-time.

ELLIS IANDOLO – 8

Whether he meant his goal or not, it was a stunning way to score and also created Town’s winner with another teasing free-kick.

KAIYNE WOOLERY – 7

Ran himself into the ground as usual and had the home defence on the back foot on numerous occasions. Improving with every game.

LUKE NORRIS – 6.5

Linked up nicely with Woolery and Anderson throughout but snatched at the one good chance that came his way in front of goal.

Substitutes:

KELLAN GORDON – 6.5

(For Linganzi, 46) Thrust into the fray straight after the break and gave his all. Booked.

PAUL MULLIN – 6

(For Woolery, 71) Worked hard but the visitors did not do much attacking in the latter stages.

BEN PURKISS – 6

(For Knoyle, 81) Helped tighten up Town’s defence late on.

Subs not used: Will Henry, Donal McDermott, Scott Twine, Matt Taylor.
