ADVER Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players following the club's 2-1 defeat to Carlisle United on Saturday.
Jojo Wollacott: 7
Made a couple of excellent saves but was left without a chance for the two Carlisle goals.
Kaine Kesler-Hayden: 7
Kesler-Hayden was outstanding once again, both defensively and going forward. Points taken off for the manner of the red card, however. Sent off.
Dion Conroy: 6
Not much to shout about for Conroy. A solid game aerially and not at fault for either goal.
Romoney Crichlow: 7
Could have given two penalties away before doing well to score. Gave everything and will improve.
Rob Hunt: 6
Hunt didn’t get forward much but was never a worry defensively. Subbed.
Anthony Grant: 5
Grant gave the ball away a fair few times in the first half and seemed slightly off it overall. Subbed.
Louis Reed: 6
Not as impressive as he was at Cambridge, but Reed did notch the pre-assist assist and tried to keep the game ticking over. Booked.
Jack Payne: 6
Payne didn’t have as much of an effect on the game as he might have liked from the right but tried to make things happen throughout.
Ben Gladwin: 5
Aside from one decent shot, Gladwin appeared leggy and was not as impressive as he was against Scunthorpe. Subbed.
Harry McKirdy: 6
McKirdy tried his best to get one over his old team, but sometimes his desperation to do well personally came at the expense of the team’s fortunes.
Tyreece Simpson: 6
Attempted to plough the lone furrow as well as he could but needed help. Will improve with time and guidance.
SUBSTITUTES
Ellis Iandolo: 7
The left-back offered a good amount going forward and delivered a couple of decent crosses late on.
Harry Parsons: 6
A powerful shot almost helped steal a point but was unlucky. Seems to be a handy option off the bench.
Ricky Aguiar: N/A
Came on in added time.
