SWINDON Town CEO Rob Angus provides an update on the latest events at boardroom level and reacts to an excellent run of results on the pitch as well.

What a great few weeks it has been with some amazing away performances from Ben Garner and the team.

On Saturday, we welcome Rochdale to the County Ground along with recognising the amazing work that our charity partner Wiltshire Air Ambulance do for our local community.

Please come down to the County Ground, support the team and a fantastic local charity. We continue to strive for 10k attendances and I know Saturday will be a great community-focused day.

We continue to encourage the next generation of Town supporters, working with the Trust and STFC Community Foundation with free tickets for local schools and youth football.

This week saw Lewis Ward head out to Orchid Vale primary school to meet the children and provide free tickets. Connecting our club and players with the local community and supporting schools is something we are keen to do as we build our club going forwards.

We had our second Advisory Board meeting this week with the Supporters Club and TrustSTFC in attendance along with our legend Don Rogers.

We discussed the progress we are making in rebuilding our finances and trying to make our club sustainable. To that end, we are promoting the fact that the County Ground is in my view the best venue around for parties, conferences and other events, so please book and know that in doing so you are supporting our club.

We also discussed plans to purchase the County Ground which we continue to drive at pace, working closely with the Trust. For more information please go to our website.

Please do come down on Saturday, support our club in great numbers, and help us to continue our revival!

Thanks for your support. COYR!
