SWINDON Town owner Clem Morfuni returns with another exclusive column for Adver Sport readers - this week, he discusses the club’s incredible start and wanting to meet Glen Morfuni.

Hello from Oz – I hope you’re all well.

It’s been great to see the progress of the club on and off the pitch. I’m still in regular daily dialogue with Rob and the team (although it’s twice for Rob!) as we continue the rebuild and move onwards and upwards.

We are making great progress, so I’d like to send a big thanks for all our supporters and sponsors for getting behind us and turning up in numbers.

It gives me great pride to see a packed County Ground as I watch in the early hours of the morning on iFollow.

What a tremendous job Ben Garner and the team are doing on the pitch, there have been some great results, and it’s fantastic to see us right up there given the challenging start we had when I took over.

Sometimes I can’t believe it, but I have great faith and pride in Ben and the team, and I’m hoping that we can continue these great results.

I’m looking forward to coming back and seeing you all at the County Ground over the Christmas period too.

In Sydney, I am known as ‘Mr Christmas’ so I have challenged Rob and the team to give you all a great festive time for our games over the Christmas period.

I’m also looking forward to meeting Glen Morfuni when I return, although I think he might need a new suit!

Thanks for all your support, and let’s get behind Ben and the boys and pack the County Ground out today against Bradford.

I’d love to see a sea of red across the County Ground when I turn on my iFollow at 1am in the morning.

COYR!
