Are there no bigger hypocrites than livestock and dairy farmers?

Yesterday I read that Pippa Burr of Roves Farm was bemoaning the fact that a dog had killed some of her pregnant ewes. Those unborn lambs are the lucky ones.

They will not have to be born in order to be transported to a slaughterhouse and line up with their brothers and sisters and watch them being brutally killed before it is their turn.

It is similar to the dairy farmers who shed crocodile tears when their cattle are destroyed with suspected Bovine T.B. It is because they receive slightly less for the diseased carcass and the poor cows would not have been worked to death over producing milk intended for the calves that the farmer kills at birth.

Anyone taken in by these people must be very naïve to say the least.
