I have come to the conclusion that if the average working, law abiding Christian in this isle of ours voices his or her opinion to the powers that be, what they really want to change, is like being in the middle of the Sahara desert and shouting at the top of your voice “Can you hear my voice?”.

I am still waiting to see all the radical hate preachers picked up in trucks and kicked out of the country or more hard labour prison sentences and not just a slap on the wrist for knife crimes etc.; Blair brought back in chains to face war crimes and not live in luxury; stop billions going abroad to crooked governments under the guise of ‘aid’. Oh, and my old chestnut, the death penalty restored, which most people would welcome.

I could go on and on but I have already stated, ‘a voice in the wilderness’.

Who in the country (yet born) has the strength of leadership to implement laws that are commonsense? Still a certain royal has grey hairs, another flaunts her rubies and others (celebrities included) would be on the first private jets out of the country (possibly to the USA) at the first sign of a real Russian threat!

Alas, as the centuries prove, nothing really changes for the ordinary citizen.
