SWINDON councillors from all parties voted to have an increase in their expenses. Against the backdrop of working class people suffering financial difficulties. All MPs recently have had a massive increase in their gold plated pensions. All MPs have recently voted and stopped a motion to overhaul their expenses for second homes. Which include up to £10,000 on a new kitchen and £6,000 on a new bathroom. Nice work if you can get it. I couldn't afford Sky TV then found out I was paying for Blundering Broons.
Recently he Adver has been full of writers blaming the present government (I plead guilty) and going back as far as blaming Thatcher’s government for our present predicament. We can learn from the past but we can’t change it. It’s now that matters.
