WHY is it that Swindon Council always proposes cuts in services for the elderly and disabled (Adver Jan 5, Proposed cuts for Dial-a-Ride).
It always seems to be the vulnerable of our society who suffer from this council's cuts. Why not look elsewhere for saving money?
Groups of people, for instance, who are able bodied and young.
It is so easy picking on the people who really do need help. So please think again.
Perhaps also the council will reconsider the increase they awarded themselves.
