IN response to the Labour Covingham parish councillor B Osborn's letter, on Saturday January 28, it shows that yet again Labour do not know what the left hand is doing from the right hand.
He talks about Coun Dilley's website that has news of the Covingham Square work she has done, yet until January 31 there was nothing even mentioned. Clearly being a Labour member means you get privileged information.
If Coun Dilley and the previous Labour leader, Coun Benfield, thought that tidying Covingham Square was such a priority and something they have been looking into for many years, it makes you wonder why they did not put their money where their mouth was when Labour were in control of the council.
Instead of trying to claim credit for the actions of others, they should look inwards and see if the Labour all talk, no action' mantra lead to them being kicked out of power in Swindon Council and why the hard-working residents could not trust them.
