AT last the local council can get something right by bringing the remains of the Tabernacle home (a building that should never have been pulled down).
In a town full of disgusting buildings the remains of a few lovely old buildings falling down and the Front Garden and Coate Water due to be concreted over, not to mention the state of the football ground, now is the time to act.
With the regeneration of the town centre are we going to see some well thought-out architecture or are we going to get some more vile buildings like the tented market that replaced another lovely old market building that should have never been pulled down?
