I READ with interest last week's coverage about the flu outbreak in Swindon schools and the good advice given at the end of the article.
Might I suggest that you add one more piece of advice. When I was in town one day I heard two women talking in a queue near me.
One had a child with her and told her friend that she had been off school with flu but as she had to go into town she thought it would do no harm to take the child along too.
Surely if the child wasn't well enough to return to school it shouldn't have been going round the shops spreading germs? Is it any wonder that the outbreak is spreading?
