NATHAN Hatter will face no criminal action in connection with the alleged theft of cash from the Brunel Rooms nightclub on New Year’s Day.

Wiltshire Police had been investigating the allegations made by the nightclub and arrested Nathan, 30, and his girlfriend, 23, at Gatwick Airport on the morning of January 1.

The force made the decision to drop its inquiries today, and said the matter was now a civil case and required no further police involvement.

A spokesperson said: “Wiltshire Police can confirm that no further action will be taken against the 30-year-old male and 23-year-old female arrested on January 1 at Gatwick Airport on suspicion of theft.

“This is a civil case and no further police involvement is required at this stage.”
