Curfew for man charged with burglaries

Swindon Advertiser: Lee Segelov has been accused of breaking into two homes, and is set to face trial Lee Segelov has been accused of breaking into two homes, and is set to face trial

A MAN who is accused of breaking into two homes during the same week is to face trial by judge and jury.

Lee Segelov pleaded not guilty to two charges of burglary when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.

But the 34-year-old admitted two counts of handling stolen goods in relation to items stolen in the raids.

Colin Meeke, prosecuting, said there would need to be a trial on the two allegations Segelov has denied.

Segelov, of Huddlestone Close, is said to have stolen jewellery and electrical items in the alleged raids between Friday, November 29 and Saturday, December 7.

It is said he first burgled a house on Greenlands Road, Gorse Hill, and then another on Thresher Drive, Groundwell.

Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Tuesday, July 8 and gave him bail on condition he observes a night time curfew.
