Traffic in Wroughton has been delayed by roadworks
TRAFFIC was queuing towards Swindon on the A4361 at Wroughton from roadworks opposite the Ridgeway Hospital to near the Science Museum entrance this morning.
One driver said: "A section of road was cordoned off, with a set of traffic lights to control traffic,but there was nobody working at 8.30am and there were delays last night out of Swindon caused by the same set of lights.
"I'll be taking a different route out of town tonight."
The road surface at the crossroads with the B4005 Wharf Road has been removed, which also slowed traffic.
