POLICE are hunting two flashers who exposed themselves to members of the public after hiding in bushes.

On October 28, around 6pm, a group of four young girls spotted a man indecently exposing himself in nearby bushes by the play park on the large green area close to Shaw Ridge Leisure Park.

The girls walked onto the green towards Grange Park, near Lydiard Park, and realised the pervert had followed them and hidden in more bushes. They walked off, shaken but unhurt.

The man is described as white, in his 40's, around 5ft8" tall, with a beer belly, black hair, wearing a beanie-style hat, black jogging bottoms and a white t-shirt. He was riding a grey push bike.

PC Phil Nash said: "We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this area, at this time.

"This is a busy area for joggers and dog walkers - someone should have seen something.

"Please contact me if you can help in anyway."

On October 31 around 3pm, three people saw a naked masked man emerge from bushes as they walked from St Andrews Ridge to Abbeymeads School via the footbridge over Thamesdown Drive.

The man was naked apart from shoes and had a blue and white striped scarf wrapped completely around his head and face, showing only his eyes. He is described as white, around 6ft tall with an athletic build.

If you have information contact PC Phil Nash on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.

These incidents are the latest in a spate of indecent exposures in the town. Five flashing incidents in as many months have been reported in the Sevenfields, Penhill area with the latest flasher spotted on Monday.
