Dance Classes Celebrate

First published in Your News

In February, a party was held at St Peters Church, to celebrate one year of Dance in Penhill. The children played party games including musical statues with a dance theme, pass the parcel and pin the ballet shoes on the dancer. A birthday tea was enjoyed by all, including sandwiches, jelly and ice cream and a special birthday cake to mark the occasion. All children sang happy birthday and helped with blowing the candle out. Miss Denise would like to thank all of the parents and grandparents for helping out on the day and making the day such a success. The summer term commences on Saturday 21 April in the John Moulton Hall. 10.45am for 2½yrs +, 11.15am Ballet for 5-6yr olds, 11.45am Tap for 5yr+, 12.15pm Ballet for 7yrs+. The dance classes provide children with a chance to learn dance, as well as build confidence, social skills, co-ordination and movement.
