In the Swindon area there a lot of teenagers and most people see them as vandals, loiterers and irresponsible youths.

But, as many of us know, Swindon is a multicultural area in that there are different religions, stereotypes and supporters of other opinions.

So, take stereotypes for example: there are musicians, skaters, few politicians, athletes and many more and amazingly they all have their own areas or activities that they enjoy participating in or creating.

Musicians will most likely form a band or even go on a solo career and try to convince members of the public to listen and like their music and eventually make money of this.

Skaters try to learn and forge different tricks to prove that they have the skills to aspire to be like those who came before and also be as successful as them.

Furthermore, the few politicians of the youth are interested in trying to change the community that we all live in so that it has benefits for all of us and hopefully for those outside our community too.

Finally the athletes are doing either of these two things: one is that they are training extremely hard to hope that one day they can represent our community, county and country at the Olympics, playing in vastly popular football teams or any other sport.

Secondly, they could be trying to train exceedingly hard to keep themselves healthy or even teach others to keep themselves physically and mentally fit.

But, unfortunately as always, there are those who like to vandalise property, deal drugs and perform other atrocities.

Personally I would not very much like to go into much detail about these youths, but many of us should be able to agree that these teenagers are always going to be around and that no one can live in a perfect world.

I am not simply saying that this is life and we must live with it, I am saying that we shouldn’t put up with these events and try to deal with them calmly and keep their unsociable actions to a minimum.

One idea of reducing the numbers and scale of these actions in and around the Swindon area is you could have charity or free of charge buildings where any young person could go and meet up with friends and socialise.

The structure could be supervised by any volunteers who would want to help our community. Also, this could provide a few more jobs to any of the young community who are looking for jobs to get an early start in life and hopefully it could possibly lead to a full-time career as a businessman/woman.

Next, inside these structures (if they are considered and put into action) you could even possibly have set-ups for other jobs eg. a carpenter, plumber, painter, sculptor, musician and many others.

Finally, as teenager myself, I see and socialise with many of these stereotypes from above and I think that this should be put into action not just for their sake but also for the community’s sake as well.
