FAREPAK victims have welcomed news that jungle beauty Myleene Klass is auctioning her famous bikini for the cause.

The 28-year-old star of I'm A CelebrityGet Me Out Of Here! has put the swimwear she wore throughout the show on auction site eBay.

So far nearly 50 bids have seen the price rise to more than £2,500. The auction closes tomorrow.

After leaving the jungle she said: "I'm coming home to a great Christmas with my family and I know others might miss out because of what's happened.

"I don't know how much the bikini will raise - but I just wanted to do my bit and hope it helps."

Georgina Barrett, a Farepak agent for 19 years, lost £5,500 after the collapse of the Swindon-based company, much of which was money belonging to her family.

The 49-year-old from Pinehurst said: "It's very good of her.

"It wouldn't fit me but I'm very pleased she's doing it. I think some of the husbands will be bidding for it."

She added: "I'm surprised how much people are bidding but I'm pleased and I think everyone else will be.

"I watched every one of I'm A Celebrity and thought she was very good. My husband thought she was going to win it."

Myleene was voted into second place on the ITV show behind ex-Busted member Matt Willis.

Alison Butler, 38, of Park South, who has two daughters, Kayleigh, 10, and Chloe, seven, lost £500 and a £50 gift.

She said: "I think it's wonderful. I didn't think celebrities knew anything about it but this is a brilliant idea.

"We've been taken aback by the response. Maybe Posh and Becks could auction something and my daughter says Britney Spears should."
