1. British Heart Foundation Swindon Half Marathon, Multi-Terrain Race and Fun Run takes place on Sunday from 10.30am, starting and finishing at Nationwide HQ, Pipers Way.

3. The Sensational 60's Experience will be at the Wyvern on Sunday night from 7.30pm starring Herman’s Hermits, The Swinging Blue Jeans, Dave Berry, The Union Gap UK, The Ivy League, and Alan Mosca from Freddie and The Dreamers. Tickets are £26.50, call 01793 524481.

4. Grab yourself a bargain at the NCT Nearly New Sale at the Oasis from 11.15am to 1pm on Saturday. The event will be held by the Swindon NCT Branch. Entry is £2.

5. Apple Day will be celebrated at Queen's Park on Saturday from 10am to 3pm, celebrating this year's apple harvest in the Secret Garden. Take your apples and pears for juicing.

6. An Absolutely Fabulous evening at the Wyvern on Saturday from 7.30pm with three of the best comedy actors in the land playing the well loved TV characters. Tickets are £35, call 01793 524481. 

7. School Leavers Open Day at New College on Saturday from 10am to 2pm - an opportunity for school leavers and lecturers to find out more about courses, chat to lecturers and current students. Call 01793 611470 for further information.

8. Katherine Ryan: Glam Role Model will be at the Arts Centre on Saturday from 8pm as part of her second UK stand-up tour. Tickets are £12 - call 01793 614837.

9. Swindon Wildcats host the Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday, so take your seat for the game at the Link Centre, at 6pm. For tickets call 01793 886857. 

10. A Mini Craft Fayre takes place at Jenner Hall in Cricklade on Saturday from 10am to midday to raise money for the Jenner Hall repair and refurbishment funds.
