Meeting a celebrity is always one of those moments that tend to stick in the minds of people.

Swindon has produced a number of celebrities including Billie Piper, Melinda Messenger and Nick Hewer from The Apprentice and Countdown

But the town has also been visited by a number of famous people, notable names and iconic figures over the years for a variety of reasons.
