Standing on the main road to Highworth from Swindon, The Rat Trap is popular with both locals and people from further afield. The Rat Trap has always been popular with Stratton residents and it is also a handy place for travellers to break their journey.
What’s it like?
The venue, which has been owned by Arkell’s since 1899, offers an extensive menu with freshly prepared food. There will also be a new menu in two weeks’ time.
The pub’s family friendly environment makes it a popular venue for people of all ages. It also has a garden and regularly runs events for the community.
