Madonna - Rebel Heart
THE original rebel in music, now 56, the Queen of Pop shows no sign of calming down and mellowing as she releases her 13th studio album, the aptly titled Rebel Heart.
The singer describes her latest LP as showing the two distinct sides of her personality - renegade and romantic - and this is clear from the outset.
Joan Of Arc, Ghosttown, Body Shop and closing track Wash All Over Me are more delicate tunes, while her feisty side comes out on Unapologetic B***h, Devil Pray, B***h I'm Madonna (featuring Nicki Minaj) and Iconic (featuring rapper Chance and Mike Tyson). "I'm gonna carry on," she sings on the lead single, Living For Love, and it's clear to see that dear Madge won't be giving up her pop throne anytime soon. 8/10
