Show covers everything from Twitter to washing machines CYBER friendship, washing machines and effective arguing techniques are just some of the topics Kerry Godliman will cover at Swindon Arts Centre next week.
Kerry, who has appeared in Live At The Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, will be at the venue in Old Town to perform Face Time on Wednesday at 8pm.
The comedian will also be discussing social media as part of the show, and said she enjoys tweeting to her 17,000 followers.
“Some comics use it for jokes and I think it’s fascinating how they try out jokes, and if they work, then they’ll do them on stage,” she said.
“But I think doing a joke on Twitter and doing a joke live are totally different things: you can’t do pauses, emphasis, or timing. It’s not a live communication. That’s fine for them, but that’s not who I am.”
Kerry recently appeared as Hannah in Ricky Gervais’ sitcom Derek, as Lacey Turner’s mum in Our Girl, and she has also appeared in Miranda, Getting On, Extras and Spoons.
Last year, she supported Micky Flanagan on tour and took her critically-acclaimed show Wonder Woman to the Edinburgh Festival.
Her Radio 4 show, Kerry’s List, aired last spring and she has been penning the second series.
The show is a semi-autobiographical sitcom co-starring her husband, Ben Abell.
