ONE of Britain’s most loved broadcasters will be on stage in Swindon in May.

Henry Blofeld will be telling the untold stories from the Test Match Special commentary box at the Arts Centre on May 29 at 7.30pm.

He will star at the Old Town venue alongside Peter Baxter, who was the brain behind Test Match Special for more than 34 years.

“It’s a show of humour. It’s comedy, not cricket at all,” said Henry.

“Nobody is going to learn anything about cricket but you will have a good laugh, I promise you. A lot of absurd things happened in the commentary box.

“There are a few risque stories but it’s all in good humour. It’s not so much what you say, it’s how you say it.

“This is a show for men, women and young people too. If you want a laugh, you should come along.”

There will be tall tales from across the globe, with a few references to cricket.

Hear the extraordinary escapades of players and commentators from the 1970s to present day.

This is your invitation to hear the exclusive behind-the-scenes adventures from Brian Johnson to Tuffers.

Anecdotes from both on and off the pitch, this is a gloriously funny show for both cricket and non-cricket lovers alike.
