THERE is still time to get tickets to watch Monty Python’s Life of Brian at the Wyvern Theatre.

The film will be screened in The Place at the theatre tomorrow at 7.30pm, and you can enjoy a biblical buffet at the same time.

The comedy classic, described as a satirical biblical-farce, will have you roaring with laughter as the story of Brian Green, who is born on the same day and in the same place as Jesus Christ, unfolds before your eyes.

So controversial was the film when it first came out in 1979 that it was banned in the Republic of Ireland and Norway over its use of religious satire amid accusations of blasphemy.

It stars the full Monty Pyton cast of John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and the late Graham Chapman.

Also featured in the film are comedian Spike Milligan and American actor George Hamilton.
