YOUNG performers danced their way to an impressive haul at a national competition.
Youngsters from The Judith Hockaday School of Dance and Drama, based in Prospect Hill took part in the North Devon Dance Festival recently and came home with a number of awards.
Melody Williams, 10, Emily Frost, 10, and sister Chloe, 12, brought home five trophies between them when they competed in Bideford, last month.
Emily and Chloe’s mother Lisa Frost said: “It was brilliant to see all three of them do so well. The girls were really, really chuffed by their success.
“As a school, we don’t normally compete in that festival regualrly, we normally do Bristol and a few closer ones but it was great for us to take part with different dance schools.
“It was a hugely enjoyable experience and I’m very sure we’d like to go back next year with more members of our school.”
